My Name is Steve and Im a Bowtie:

Twisted Evil

Mines gonna be Heinz 57, but still have a HEARTBEAT,

Honestly it all comes down to $$ for me, I can build twice the engine in a chevy small block for half the price of anything else, and parts available and interchanging so easy just makes it a no brainer for me, but no matter what ya drive, keep havin fun and like Grady said,

"RUN YOUR TRUCK NOT YOUR MOUTH"

lol!

Chevy by the way.................that "JUNK" ran pretty good eh ??

lol!

although I will say that even though the rules permit what you ran, I think "street" trucks should be driven on the street, legaly, and there is no way in hell your truck could ever be street legal.............dudes with no money like me have no chance, thats why Im giving it up, and sticking to tearing up some woods and private property, until they come out with a "street legal" or "daily driver" class.

not your fault, dont take that the wrong way, you followed the rules, I just cant afford to do it, and it sucks for guys like me..........even though I did get 3rd to two fords....one was a 1/2 ton with a big block though, again not right, but like you said its the off season, I run my mouth now......and my truck EVERY FUCKING DAY TO WORK AND BACK

lol!

Steve, just make sure you make it to the meeting, well when Eric schedules them, and make sure there is a class that you can compete in.

Im sure you can, I was running close with them on a stock 350 with 120,000 miles on it, but just couldnt get on top with it, but Im rebuilding this winter so hopefully that will freshen it up a bit, not sure what the rules are gonna be though so I dont know how much cam and head work I can do ?? Might just leave it stock again, it did fine and drove nice out on the highway
